Job responsibilities:
The Senior Buyer is responsible for coordinating the processes, procedures, and practices for procurement activities, including but not limited to purchasing parts, components, assemblies, capital assets, equipment, sundry production materials, and other items as required and necessary in support of routine business activities.

7.      Work with Warehouse personnel to assure that critical part stocks are maintained to minimize the need for expedited orders.
8.      Evaluate the need for expedited handling of critical orders.
9.      Equitably resolve discrepancies and disputes with suppliers which would include price, quantity or quality issues.
10.  Participate in and contribute to general engineering, production planning, purchasing or other periodic meetings.
11.  Other duties as necessary to assure smooth operations as instructed by immediate supervisor or senior management.
